Trip Advisor has awarded us a “5 Star” rating for our sailing, sailboat racing and whale watching sailing experiences in San Diego. That is an awesome achievement and testament to the once in a lifetime experiences that guests enjoy at the helm of our America’s Cup yachts ‘Stars & Stripes’ and ‘Abracadabra’ on San Diego Bay and the spectacular ocean voyages for whale watching in San Diego on the magnificent schooner ‘America’. Our company started business in 2003 as “Next Level Sailing” and for a period of time until very recently went by the name ‘Dennis Conner’s America’s Cup Experience’….hence the wonderful certificate below.
We sincerely appreciate your support and the efforts of those folks who took the time to submit their reviews to Trip Advisor. Thank you Trip Advisor for this wonderful compliment.

We want to plan a family trip to San Diego just to sail on the Stars and Stripes. There are four of us. What does the calendar look like from now until labor day weekend?

I just want to thank our guide Al for giving us a great time – we didn’t see any whale on that day but we did see hundreds of dolphins, and our Al was simply fantastic, his knowledge about the region, the marine animals, patience with children and great sense of humor brighten our trip. It was certainly the high light of our trip!
We had a wonderful time, saw Grey whales, dolphins, naval dolphins(now we know where Flipper went) and a sea lion, weather and sea beautiful, perfect sailing conditions. We llike to thank the crew for being eye candy when the whales were not in sight, and especially Alan for the pure entertainment, fun and informative facts, jokes need some work.(but we loved his humour)It was a brilliant all round sea adventure
We recommend you take the plunge and see nature in all her glory aboard The America. All the best our salty sea dogs, from 3 English birds .
I came from Michigan and never seen the ocean before. I got on the boat and felt like home right away the crew knew what there were doing at all times and was always having fun but still helped out anyone that needed anything! On the day we went out we saw gray whales, dolphins, and sea loins.and all kinds of sea life and birds. We also got to see a rare naval ship doing exercises out at sea and the captain brought us right up to the ship to take pictures and to take a look!! I had a great time on the America and i will come back and do it again!!!!
I am from Minnesota. I love the ocean! My husband and I were recently fortunate enough to get out of our winter weather for a week to vacation in San Diego Ca. We had heard about the America’s Cup Whale watching cruise from a friend and booked our cruise before leaving home. The cruise was amazing! The America is such an awesome schooner! We had the time of our life! We sailed 14 miles out into the ocean, with an awesome history lesson of the San Diego harbor on our way. One of the crew had to be hoisted up 60 ft. to look for whale spouts! He found them and we saw maybe 6 gray northbound whales! The crew is awesome! So fun and full of information! The boat beautiful! I can’t say enough positive about the experience. If you are ever in San Diego and get the chance , sail on the America! Thanks so much!
